IE7.0 Free download

I tried it a couple weeks ago, don't like how they made the favorites. Might be able to change it, i didn't spend the time trying to figure it out tho...

I have problem with IE7 beta that I couldn't hit "enter", click on the "go" button or do anything to go to the url that I typed into the address field. I have no idea why and I found some people are having the same issue on the usenet. However, nobody was able to help. Anybody knows why? I had to uninstall IE7 to go back to IE6.

I will install it for the hell of it. I have used some of the betas before and a browser is a browser. I use Opera. All this talk of improving browsers is silly. What is there to improve besides IE's terrible rendering of web pages?

Does IE7 have mouse gestures? That's all I really care about, I use Maxthon now which is great 99% of the time but can still be a bit quirky (not as bad as Firefox though). IE6 with tabs and mouse gestures would be perfect for me.

Thanks for the link! I've been waiting for this for a while. Like some of the others, I actually like this over Firefox too.

Funny, I couldn't wait for this to come so that EA would support it w/ their downloader service. Now that I hear what is going on w/ 2142, I don't think I want the ea downloader anymore! 🙂

I have IE7, Firefox, and Netscape 8. I like Netscape best. It has a clean interface works well and I like it's features. I don't see many people speaking up about Netscape 8. I was using firefox exclusively but it gave me fits a couple of times with updates and loosing bookmarks. So, I began using Netscape and really like it.

After setting Firefox to begin rendering pages immediately instead of the 250ms default delay, no browser has compared. IE7 rendering feels sluggish at best.

Which setting is that? Is it found in about:config?

Anyone know how to bypass activation? It's a joke how legit corporate copies can't even install IE7.

 Same problem here...checking with IT about it...

I tried Firefox for awhile on all of my kids computers but eventually went to Opera. They all seem to like it a lot better and they say it is faster too.
