IE

Some of the vendors I place online orders with (for work) require this fucking hunk of shit browser.

How in God's name can Microsoft not produce a browser that does not suck donkey nuts???

I know that I am preaching to the choir but I want to punch my computer right now..URGGGHHHHH!!!!

Thanks for listening.

I don't have any problems with the newer versions. IE is required for some of our applications at work and IE9+ is fine by me - I use it side by side with Opera mostly because I like Opera's flexibility and sidebar for managing large amounts of tabs.

< IE9 are where all of the problems are at. IE 10/11 are surprisingly-good browsers (though still not quite on-par with FF/Chrome, IMO).

I've only ever used IE. The last 20 years since version 1. Never really had any issues with any of them.

My only gripe is that some of the options cannot be set on a per zone basis. For example. I put thepiratebay in the restricted zone, which disables all java, add ons, etc. But I want to make it so it suppresses pictures and a few other options. So you don't see all the porn ads on the side of the webpage, etc. But the suppress picture option is global to all zones. Not sure why they'd have some options attached to zones, but yet other ones global.

I HATE HATE HATE stuff that only works in IE. Is it that freaking hard to actually use proper standard code and make it work in any browser (well, ones that follow standards, IE does not)?

Most of the stuff at work is IE6 only, pisses me off.

I haven't used IE since before Firefox was Firefox. It doesn't run on my home systems, and is persona non grata on my work machine.

Probably was developed when IE6 was the standard.

Same. I was an early adopter of Firefox. IE is just a curiosity now. It probably is fine now but IE6 just left such a bad taste in everyone's mouths.

Nope they still suck.

I also do some front-end development.

"Surprisingly good" = "Surprisingly using some modern web standards that FF/Chrome have been allowing for many builds" 😀

It's still not the most amazing browser ever created, but 10/11 are MILES ahead of 8/9.
