I wished he'd just realize what a big mistake this was.
 
Hopefully he will change his mind before they get married. 18 is too young.

I pray they don't have kids for at least 4 years.
 
Some have to learn the hard way. I've got a friend who dropped out of college so he could marry this chick at 19 years of age. 6 months later he divorced and is going to go back to school.
 
Explain to him the cost of pyschologists and medications that his weirdo chick will require over the years because of her penchant for suicide attempts.

Getting hit in the pocketbook could change his mind.
 
I can come over at night, whoop his ass, and forbid him to get married.

Alternatively, I can watch some TV and have a coffee.

I don't know what the hell he is thinking...I got married young at 19 and he seen how tough it is for me. I've had long talks with him about it and I thought he'd be smarter. I wished I coulld stop the whole thing, but this is now beyond what I can do. If I try anything I'd be fighting our traditions. This is what I hate about our culture. If he were to stop now, her parents would not take her back, because she know is no longer "pure" and they would basically make her live int he streets. How sad...
