Why? Again, ICE did nothing new when it was formed, other than put all the activities under a single body. What about breaking them up will change anything?

So you want to scrap it and start over, not because you want to do something different, but because its a symbol? The cost of doing that would be insane just to destroy a symbol.

Young, don't do that. You know damn well his point was to say that those people should be executed. I get why you want to defend him, but come on. He was wrong and then tried to double down on it.

He was the one that started throwing shit around. You go after people just the same when you see it. He had no intention of starting a conversation.

No, he was not being facetious. He was not trying to be funny. You can validate that by his defending what he said. Don't make excuses for something that you yesterday said was inappropriate.

Ha.

Perhaps what you see as generosity is for you more an effort of will than what I see it as, just the a simple and natural consequence and product of understanding.
Understanding is one thing. I am thinking you are closer to empathy.

But you do you. I don't think I've ever had beef with how you handle yourself here.

LOL. No brad doesn't portray himself as a victim. He presents himself as perpetually confused by human emotion/beliefs outside of what he himself experiences.
He has also stated very clearly he is not on the spectrum.

I think I've clearly stated my thoughts. When something is an atrocity you obliterate it. Sometimes starting from scratch is worth it to send a message of NEVER AGAIN!

No, I don't believe he wants them executed.

Facetious ~ treating serious issues with deliberately inappropriate humor; flippant

That photo is famous from the nuremberg trials. And if ICE agents killed kids like what happened in Germany then yes kill them. That was the point my special snowflake.

Have no issue with the point you were making but, doing a picture search, it seems that photo is apparently Germans hanging Russian partisans.

But its not the institution that is broken, its the leaders. Breaking it up will do what to solve that?

That I think then means that the only exit from this karmic turn of the wheel is to step off of it. It takes seeing that you are what you hate to do this. Naturally, if you don’t, then you remain what you hate as you mentioned.

Karmic turn of wheel, so eloquently described. Almost all of human history. And the wheel just keeps going round and round. Man is still where he was ages ago, the shiny new Lexus notwithstanding

And I think if it had never been suggested to me it's possible to step off I would never have noticed.

no, its done daily by child protective services across the country when parents are thrown in jail and nobody can take over the stewardship of the kids.
Because those parents can't or won't take care of their kids ya fu*king idiot.

Neither can these parents. They committed a crime and are detained until we can send them back to their home.

But they want to. They're trying to find a better life for them only to have their children taken from them. Don't miss the point or confuse it.

Brad sees people carrying out immoral orders and assumes the problem is only at the top.

I'm utterly shocked that this was circular.

Seeking asylum is not a crime.

Fucking stop it with your broad stupid xenophobic-looking brush.

I don't think you're actually xenophobic, but you gotta know how it looks.

Speaking of making threats, Peter Fonda got his ass all the way up on his shoulders today. Ultra liberal, triggered, TDS suffering fucktard that he is:
https://www.cnn.com/2018/06/20/politics/peter-fonda-baron-trump-secret-service/index.html

Good job!
You'd think these people would have a spouse, a friend that they could express their anger and frustration to instead of publicly making asses of themselves. What makes it worse for them is that in lashing out in that manner, they also expose themselves as being grossly uninformed. Fonda may not have anybody though because he refers to Kirstjen Nielsen as a "Lying Gash" and that kind of rhetoric doesn't fly with pretty much everyone. I haven't heard a woman referring to as a 'gash' in many, many, many decades. Fonda is no spring chicken so that 'old school' blood coursing through his veins must take precedence in his life. Woke, he ain't.

Speaking of Kirstjen Nielsen, one of the group that verbally assaulted her and her husband while they were out to dinner (to the extent that they left the restaurant) is a DOJ employee. Allison Hrabar is her name. With her name plastered all over the news she might find her next job search hampered. But hey, emotions can overwhelm common sense sometimes but there can be a price attached to the behavior.

Anyway, one step closer to civil war. I'll be amazed if we somehow avoid it.
