lol, you really don't understand what existential nihilism is!

It's funny how you're failing so bad. At least read the Wiki on it or something to get a foot in the door.

I know exactly what I'm talking about - but since you're such an expert, why don't you show me up by actually explaining what YOU think it is. Or is this yet another case where you will simply tell someone he's wrong when you have no basis/support for it whatsoever. It's really an incredible defense mechanism you have.

What is Existential Nihilism?

Existential Nihilism embraces the notion that the world lacks meaning or purpose. All existence itself -- actions, suffering, feelings -- is senseless, nothingness.

The existential nihilist regards all thoughts and feelings as merely the effects of prior causes. In other words, free will is denied. Neither heredity nor environment is attributed to the nihilist’s futile existence.

Most commonly, nihilism is presented in the form of existential nihilism which argues that life[1] is without objective meaning, purpose, or intrinsic value.

I'm just quoting some top results off of google.

Exactly. You've proven my own point. Please explain how ANY of that applies to you. Hell, the one sentence it took me 1.5 seconds to bold is contradictory to your whiny bitch mentality. All you do is bitch about how your current state is due to your heredity and genetics. That's essential the foundation of your argument in nearly every thread you make.

lol, like I said, I pulled that off the top results in Google. It doesn't mean that I agree with their definition, which is contradictory if you read it in a certain way. (i.e. All things are due to prior events, yet the nihilist themselves is not prone to all things due to prior events)

The wording might just be bad. It took a very literal meaning of futile which is to have no result. Thus the existence of the nihilist is completely futile no matter the environment or the heredity. At least I took it as meaning that no matter the environment or heredity the nihilist will never make a result.

I'm a materialistic determinist, so that would make that last sentence very contradictory to me if conceived in your way.

Let me get this straight:

You tell me I don't know anything about nihilism and that I should Google it to learn something?
I say bullshit, tell me what YOU think it is, so YOU find Google results and post it.
Then I show that YOUR evidenced definition is contradictory with YOUR own word.
Then YOU say that the evidence YOU found is wrong and that YOU are still right?

You are batshit crazy delusion.

I never said they were wrong. I said their wording might be bad. (i.e. confusing)

I said if interpreted the way you did, then it would be wrong... but I never said I interpreted it that way. I said I interpreted it in the way I did in the second paragraph.

I'd expected this thread to last two-three pages of trying to convince douche OP he's fit for life, and then turn into a condolences fest following OP's suicide. That has not materialized.

Maybe one of these days he'll pull a Heller and tell us he's getting help, then come back to troll some more, then tell us again that he's getting some help.

He said delusion in two different posts. Which is weird, you'd think he'd catch on. That's why I think he might be confused.

Oh, my apologies, I'm actually studying for a midterm and watching college football while counter-trolling you. I may have forgotten the -al twice, but I can assure you I'm not even the slightest bit confused. Unfortunately for you, you may never know (or at least admit to yourself) how confused you truly are.

This is why you're failing. You watch college football.

Whatever society deems appropriate.

What the fuck are you talking about? I've got a 3 course 200 question midterm on Monday afternoon, and college football is on .. what exactly is not appropriate about studying/watching football? That's right, absolutely nothing. It really must tough in that little delusional world of yours.
