Trump's sadistically perverted persona is manifested in those knuckle dragging murderers he's been hiring. It's him personified in every one of them. And I'm certain Trump is getting off from virtually seeing himself in them doing what he'd very much like to do himself. For him it's like Jan. 6th all over again 'cept it's being played out every day everywhere and anywhere a blue state is conveniently available for the picking.

Just curious. How many Americans did immigration officials execute under Obama during their work on deporting illegal immigrants?
 
The US agents who were involved in the shooting of Pretti have been placed on leave, which is, according to a US Customs and Border Protection spokesman, standard procedure.

Really? I did some checking, and, as far as I can tell the agent who killed Renee Good is not on leave and is not even being investigated.

Allegedly placed on leave would be a better description. We have no idea who the agents were and the administration constantly lies.

So .. to my awareness there is not really a messaging app out there right now that US intelligence cant snoop on if they want to... But I guess you gonna need one sooner rather than later.

I searched for Obama officials declaring that ICE had absolute immunity for anything they did. I've searched for when Obama sent groups of masked ICE agents to rove into American cities with irregular uniforms without warrants or individual identification accosting American citizens on the street demanding proof of citizenship.

I've searched for how many American citizens ICE murdered under the Obama administration, on camera, one of whom had already been disarmed of his legally carried 2nd amendment firearm and was on his hands and knees when he was shot multiple times in the back execution style. I've searched for when Obama told elected Republican representatives that he would call off ICE if they gave him the state's voter information, implying that finding illegal immigrants wasn't ever really the goal.

Seems like Republicans would have been screaming with existential butthurt about oppressive government had any of these things happened under Obama, but oddly I can't find a mention of any of it anywhere. Does Greenman know he's lying, or is he so isolated and pig-ignorant that he just assumes what he's told is true without even trying to validate any of it, or confirm for himself what might actually be happening in this country? I have given up hope of ever knowing.

To my knowledge they cannot actually gain access to the content of Signal messages, but they can tell that you're using Signal.

That's why I asked if he was doing a bit or if he actually believed it. No response, I think "intentionally ignorant" is probably most accurate, he simply decides what he thinks is true and believes that, he is not easily swayed by verifiable facts from independent sources, he mostly prefers sources that confirm his pre-existing belief.

The reality is that Signal is likely going to be fine for most people. People are overblowing the need for "operational security", and such talk discourages people from joining protests.

Unless Signal features "undocumented features" - it cant.
But it wouldnt be too hard to detect a signal message going going to your phone, all they would have to do is access the message before you have a chance to delete it... I figure that is pretty easily automated.

edit: but there is ways around that, lets circle back to that if you get to that point.

Here’s the problem. If the person you are sending the signal to has hardware that is compromised then they can get your information that way.

Could google use android to take secret screenshots when Signal is in use on an Android phone?

Hell MS Copilot comes right out and records everything you do on your laptop if you don’t inhibit that function. Could those records be grabbed by MS or the Feds?

Signal is good and fine for most people but it does have some attack vectors.

Quite frankly you want ops sec.
  • Get an arduino or ESP 32 and use an antenna and the A to D converter to record and convert some nice random static to random numbers.
  • Store a TB worth on a micro SD card
  • Give your bud a copy
  • Use SD card random numbers starting with first digit to encrypt your message - preferably on a laptop that is not connected to the internet.
  • Send message via whatever means your want. Electronic or snail mail.
  • Friend decrypts using his SD card copy of numbers on an unconnected laptop.
  • As long as numbers are truly random it’s unbreakable without a copy of the numbers.
