Reportedly Canadian troops are being sent to Greenland. I assume it's just a few but the implication is quite clear. Any attempt to annex Greenland by force will likely be opposed and a de facto state of war would exist between the US and Canada + like half of Europe.

Your government, if not negligent, should have plans in place for options in that scenario. Obviously the Canadian military is not equal to that of the US but it doesn't have to be to inflict serious damage on our economy and security.

Yea, few of the US troops deployed to Europe are actual combat forces. They would be in no position to realistically resist arrest by the host nations since they are entirely dependent on them for food, fuel, etc. Their nuclear arsenal would also expand by confiscating our stored B-61 stocks.

There has been a lot of US Military Cargo traffic in Europe last few days. Supposedly to do with Iran, but the timing makes it interesting.

Polling says 86% of Americans oppose a US invasion of Greenland. Is Trump & Company stupid enough to try to climb that hill? Looks to be political suicide if they try.
