Miller doing his hardest to try and egg a governor to act explicitly against ICE with the National Guard so they can press that insurrection act button, thinking it is some 1000 Reich button, and not something that would further inflame people in the most heavily armed country on earth.

Also, ICE just filled with scared, amateur piss babies. But that makes sense, because that describes Trump voters to a T (looking at you Greenman).

It is pretty obvious the ice agents requirements and training were dramatically reduced to make staffing quotas…

And I would imagine that came from the top (Kristi noem)
Kristi Noem is a useless snowflake. Couldn't help shouting at my TV when I saw her mic'd statement-of-lies last night wearing her cartoonish cowboy hat.

Yeah, asked, Kristi Noem said Habeas Corpus granted the POTUS powers to do whatever he wants with detainees.

Trump asked said "habeous who?"

Yes. Suppose you got SO much power in the midterms that you could pull it off though. Senate votes to impeach.

Then what?
A guy can dream, but gaining that many seats in the Senate might happen in 15 years, not by next November.

I don't think the military rank and file would support these kind of cowardly murders ICE is doing and if ordered to fire on people they'd hopefully kill their commanders instead like Petrograd 1917.
I think a lot would refuse but the military is infested with MAGAts willing to jump at the chance to gun down citizens

I'll reserve judgment about the severity of the previous incident until facts come out. I am not inclined to take Vance's word on what color the sky is, let alone this, since he is a well known liar.

Anyway that doesn't give you the right to just start capping drivers.
If he was dragged by a car 100 yards last year he's the last guy who should have been hired by ICE. The people who hired him get a lot of the blame.

Impeachment is accusation, accomplished by a IIRC majority vote in the House of Representatives. Absent conviction by the Senate, it doesn't accomplish anything beyond the spectacle. Senate conviction requires 2/3 vote for yea.

There are absolutely members of the army that would shoot the public, just like there were in Petrograd. But I think similar would happen here if the people kept fighting: that the majority of soldiers would get sick of gunning down their own people and turn on their commanders and the traitors who kept firing on the people instead. Why do you think Trump is making a Schutzstaffel loyal to him and not the constitution?

Not as easy as you might think.

How about we burn the entire institution to the ground and start over.
What institution are you talking about. I'm not for nuclear armagedon, that's the one tool that would get us over everything in a hurry. I like to say (well, saying it here), Rome wasn't built in a day but nowadays it can sure be destroyed in a day.
