This year they gave ICE a larger budget than the Russian military.
Also, unless there is an actual act of insurrection from the State against the Feds, that military will be working for POTUS and with ICE, not against them.
Well... the army won't be totally ally with that private army. And seeing how the ICE is starting to get the best stuff is worrying.

Pastor shot in the face point blank. All of a sudden this administration is attacking Christians.

Heck, you get photographed at EU and UK borders too when you go through passport control. They are almost certainly using biometrics there.

It looks like just terrible sensationalist journalism. If you dig into the comment request thing, it's talking about modifications to existing regs like removing "pilot program" references.

That scanning is already there, and has been for as long as I can remember.

True enough

My flight was cancelled once and I was put on the next day's flight out in Thailand.

You'd have thought I assassinated the Thailand P.M. with the amount of shakedown I got. It was even notated on my passport that I'm an overstayer!

Lesson learned.. don't fly AeroSvit (they went bankrupt later that year).

I think you get photographed nearly everywhere now, we got photographed in New Zealand when we went earlier this month and coming back to the US.

When we came back from Thailand we had an overnight layover in HK and the people questioning everyone were really intense. I had a massive hangover too because we decided to go out to the party street there with a bunch of bars/clubs so I was really struggling not to just snap at the person. Saw some crazy shit the night before, when the bars closed down they literally brought out a line of police with riot gear to clear the street, saw several people get arrested and shit. This wasn't long before all the protests took place there so not too surprising.

My lesson from years of people having trouble in many countries is: Don't travel to countries that don't have a strong rule of law. So USA is obviously off my list until it establishes that...

More abuse of US citizens by ICE.

According to the plaintiffs, the agent first pointed a pepper ball gun, then a real firearm at Chris Gentry, a combat veteran and U.S. citizen, who was standing on the side of the road “lawfully voicing his opposition.” The officer then allegedly said, “bang, bang, you’re dead liberal.”
