I think the main issue is Trump doesn't actually care about the future of the US and therefore is not following game theory the way most countries do.

Generally speaking countries try to keep their word when they make agreements because future agreements depend on some sort of credibility and international relations is a repeated game. People remember when you fuck them over and look for ways to either get even or at least not put themselves in a position to be fucked over again. Trump seems to share our belief (hope?) that he will be dead soon and since what happens after he dies is irrelevant to him he's free to shred US credibility for short term advantage.

Unfortunately we will be stuck dealing with this for years or decades but again, Trump doesn't give a single shit about anyone but himself.

Can’t you just see, if the Democrats regain the three branches, prison terms for all those who have supported Trump in his efforts to destroy the country as justice demands. I can’t. I think we have earned what we get which is nothing. A national of fools shouting fuck me.

The Dem establishment does not have the ethics nor stones to prosecute the traitors anywhere near what they deserve if the establishment is not overthrown by actual effective lawmakers.

Given the just public reaction of many GOPs and the absolute disaster unfolding in the polling Trump is liable to be looking for another head jus because he’s pissed off.

Oh for sure he'll be looking to mount some cabinet flunky's head on a pike "that he hardly knew" to make sacrificial lemmings out of them. Although they're following his direct orders, in his mind if things go sideways it's because they just didn't follow his orders the way they're supposed to. Meaning, if there's any backfiring going on from his directives, it's not only the Secret Service personnel that has to die protecting him from harm.

How his hired morons can put up with Trump's myopic selfishness I'll never know nor understand.

Federal immigration officers have been collecting personal information about protesters and agitators in Minneapolis, sources told CNN – and had documented details about Alex Pretti before he was shot to death on Saturday.

It is unclear how Pretti first came to the attention of federal authorities, but sources told CNN that about a week before his death, he suffered a broken rib when a group of federal officers tackled him while he was protesting their attempt to detain other individuals.
