This is exactly the main reason black people are staying out of the ICE and protesting Trump stuff. Too dangerous for us. If the driver has been black DHS would have spun a worse narrative.

I choose to participate but try to carefully pick when and where.

Besides dismantling ICE and CBP, the next administration needs to hire a fuckton more immigration judges and speedrun all the cases such that they all end favorably, unless there is something particularly egregious - a backdoor amnesty. And if Congress ever got off it's butt, it could streamline the whole broken system instead of allowing a permanent underclass to grow and be stuck in limbo. There are probably a number of ways to politically sell it, since the typical American thinks immigration process is closer to get off a boat/Ellis Island than the Kafkaesque process it really is.

And I've seen people basically held hostage in shitty employment situations due to a fear of losing their visa.

This woman confirms. Woman was originally blocking traffic. ICE told her to move. You can see her initially try to make a left turn. When told to leave she tried to backup and turn right. As she is backing up ICE runs towards her door. She got spooked tried to drive around the agents. You can see she did hot hit the agent. Soon as she tries to go forward right they shot her in the face.

This is shitty police training at work. Scream orders from several different directions and then shoot the citizen for not complying immediately with all the orders even if they are contradictory. The agent in front of the vehicle basically ran and put himself in that position as other agents were telling the woman to move her car. Fuck them all.

Yes they didn't just murder a woman in the street with no repercussion. You're such a hardass, you won't drop when they put hot lead in your forehead for peacefully protesting.
