Really goes to show you who actually had principles, even if they were sometimes shitty, vs those who just spoke the platitudes and threw them away when convenient for power.
In my very early political awareness, I thought he was an Fn genius. As time went on, I became more liberal and he was ALWAYS wrong about the middle east.

So you're just going to deport alleged criminals who you claim are part of a transnational terrorist group so they can continue scheming in relative freedom? How does that make any sense?
I thought the assumption was that they were illegal immigrants? If that's not the case then the whole thing is seven kinds of fucked up.

Being undocumented is a civil offense, not a criminal one. And many that have been swept up had outstanding cases for asylum or were working their way through a labyrinth and Byzantine system designed to make it really difficult for anyone to legally immigrate.

And if you pulled your head out of the ground for 2 seconds, you'd see that every single overly aggressive arrest and deportation to parts unknown or some foreign torture camp is under the notion that these people are transnational criminals. Except there is never a criminal record or conviction and evidence to support such assertions from people that lie about everything.

So yeah, it is all kinds of fucked up. Thanks for maybe fucking noticing for once.

If they weren't supposed to be here that's pretty much the end of it. Status is legal or illegal. There is no third option.

Don't be daft. It's not binary. How do you explain snatching people for attending their immigration hearings to determine their status?

Also, how does "being here illegally" even justify being locked away like a criminal in a third party country? What the fuck is wrong with you?

What would stop the next Dem President from sending anonymized Law Enforcement from rounding up Trump and Co then shipping them off somewhere for incarceration without Charges/Convictions?

Let me shed a little light on your questions by posting his own words:

Master class in saying you have no idea about the law without saying you have no idea about the law

From the article it said he had a pending asylum application which he is allowed to be here

You are nothing more than the typical racists Trumper / GOP sycophant

The wrong people are using the "asylum" loophole. Clearly that was only intended for persons who are white.

Checkmate libtard!

Just some Kavanaugh Stops that are hurting US citizens who happen to be brown. @Greenman - have any thoughts about this? Want to rethink some of your priors about the due process issues and this whole operation? Or do you want to just provide some lip service and say this is messed up, with a fat, doubting qualifier of "if it's true", and go on pretending things are fine?

It is messed up, if it's true, but I haven't seen the other side of the story. Happy now?
The simple reality is that mistakes will be made, some agents will go overboard. I never doubted that there would be mistakes made, sometimes very serious mistakes.
ICE has been charged with finding and deporting millions of illegal aliens. Does anything make you think that's going to be a smooth and trouble free operation? A mess this huge isn't going to be cleaned up without collateral damage, it stinks, and I really do hope anyone wrongly swept up in it is compensated, but it is going to happen.

Btw. As far as I know there wasn't a vote by the people or congress to allow millions of undocumented immigrants into the country, so why did we do it? Who made that decision and why are we not talking about that? Why are you so pissed of about the cleanup but don't care who made the mess?

Hitler: who's a good little nazi
Greenman: mein fuhrer!! 😍

Funny in that conservative god reagan granted citizenship to millions of undocumented people back in the 80s. Its almost like we could do that again, overhaul iur immigration rules, and increase the ability of thr courts to process immigration cases.

We could also stop fucking over our neighbors to the south so that they can improve their political and economic stability.

I think if you described what the actual immigration system looks like today and what it requires to be here legally, people would look at you like you have 8 heads. They simply don't understand that Kafkaesque process that is US immigration in 2025.
