Im trying to find someone who does single sided 512mb PC2100 ECC dimms so that i can put three on a i845D chipset mobo without exceeding the 4 bank limit.
I could really do with some help on this as im really struggling to find anyone that does these :(
Any help be gratefully appreciated.

thanx,

rockhard =)

Be careful, because the board only accepts unbuffered ECC DIMMs. It is not compatible with Registered ECC DIMMs.

yeah i just noticed that in the manual.
it looks like i would need 128Meg x 72 chips on the dimm to allow the dimm to be single sided at 512MB.
All the ones i see with 128Meg x 72 chips are registered so has me now thinking im flogging a dead horse here, yeah?
Maybe now ive got the excuse ive needed to get another SCSI HD and go raid 0 for my apps and swap :D
At least that would alleviate the slow down i would see if the rig started hitting the swap file big time maybe, yeah? :)
