i3-6100 & GPU

What GPU would be the best to get to use with an i3-6100 for gaming. Approx budget around £150 maximum. I want to be able to play most modern games. Not interested in using high gpu settings. Thanks

Your budget looks like it would support a GTX 960 at most if you can't throw a few more euro's into your budget.

What about the GTX 950?

Usually too expensive compared with GTX 960. Also, GTX 950 is only available in 2GB version (or at least, I didn't saw any GTX 950 4GB graphics card for sale).

For GTX 960 you have 2GB version and 4GB version. 4GB version of GTX 960 is preferable, if price difference is reasonable (around 10% more for GTX 960 4GB than for GTX 960 2GB).

380 because it is faster than 960, which is trash for the price.

edit: unless op already have a card in mind? you seems to want a 950? is that what you want? please be clear.

R9 380 4GB and GTX 960 4GB are not that far apart. R9 380 4GB is usually better, but you need benchmarks to see that. At equal prices, R9 380 4GB is the better buy than GTX 960 4GB, but the latter is far from trash.

Regarding GTX 950 2GB at 135 GBP: when at around 150-160 GBP you can buy a R9 380 4GB or a GTX 960 4GB, then a GTX 950 2GB at 135 GBP is a poor choice in my opinion.

The point was that an overclocked GTX 950 will not match an equally overclocked GTX 960.
