I will support Ron Paul and his ideals until the day he dies.

This is my very minor personal statement for the week. I have every intention of supporting Ron Paul until the day he dies. Why? The man is on the mark! For years I loved the games of politics and politicians. I loved watching hardball with Chris Matthews & the Mclaughlin Group on pbs. I daytraded for a decade, fell in love with the nation of Israel and monitored the terrorist organizations around the globe from Hamas in Lebanon to Abusief in the Philippines.
The moment the first plane struck the tower I screamed Osama Bin Laden!!

I had an education in politics and world affairs but the picture was not clear. I calculated that the simple explanation was that i Simply needed another 20 years of reading to understand what is happening in the world.

That is until I heard Ron Paul. The man has destroyed politics for me. I now understand that the old conspiracy sayings are true. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Let it be known that it does not matter if Ron Paul dies in a car crash this morning
(parish the thought).
I will be supporting this man as president until the day he dies. America is floundering in a big way and to those of you who have had an easy life I give you fair warning. This is not 1987, 1977 or even 1929. This is something new. If you read history you must read further back than this century. The fat American century is over and done.

The radical Republicans have hijacked the Zionist cause. They care not about the Jew nor the Gentile. They care about the Power and the fact that they lead that most powerful nation in the world called the United States of America. Step back and call on your Christian roots. The nation of America will stand against Israel in the last days. God will judge people & Nations! Separate yourself form the nation that walks astray.

I ask every person today, whether religious or not, to make one post in support of Ron Paul. It is our nation, but also our lives.

and the Ron Paul bots go from being completely ignorant on anything to do with economics and finance to being experts on religion and zealots in the same.

You guys are sounding more freaky every day in your desperation to maintain even your 10%.

he's slightly less creepy than Jim Jones, and I'm sure it'll go well when he and his followers start their own country to worship the gold standard.

...and I am sorry to say that your life will probably go nowhere.

No he does not. He does however support a hard currency. That is to say that you cannot print money without backing it up with a hard asset.

Who are you voting for?

You're going to stop supporting his principles the day he dies? What then? For myself, I will stand by my principles until the day I die. After that, I won't care so much anymore.

Attacking the messenger is nice and all, but what of the message? Should we be government property or not? So few people to elect are determined to say no to this, what say you?

I certainly think its good that people take an interest in, and support, "fringe" candidates such as Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, or whoever. But the attitude of the Ron Paul supporters just kind of puzzles me. You like him, you support his ideas, we get it. But the man is not the messiah, he is not going to walk on water if elected, and he is most certainly not going to magically change your life for the better if elected.

Also, your zionist blather was a little creepy.

Being a spectator of American politics I have a difficult time imagining another like Ron Paul. Nonetheless I will support anyone who supports his ideas.

So would the government of the day decide what hard assets were relevent?

It was already proposed in this thread. A return to the biscuit standard!

The man is more like a prophet than a politician.

Can we please consolidate these threads? Or, better yet, treat them as the troll-posts they are? meh...

How many times do we hear people preach the end of America as we know it? You accuse those in power of fear mongering, of which they are guilty, but employ the identical tactic as reason to support your own fringe candidate. The ecomony is being destroyed! We're in a war that will never end! Our politicians are all hypocritical tyrants! This is a cylce that occurs every few decades, and America self-corrects.

Paul has had his spotlight, he's been in the debates, he has the access of the Internet where his followers have spread like locusts into every forum and venue, he has raised great amounts of money for advertising, his message has been heard, American has seen him, judged him, and rejected him.

America survived a civil war, Vietnam, assassinations of our presidents, multiple economic collapses, massive scandals and frauds, and terrorist attacks. It will not disappear because Ron Paul was not elected president. The changes he has proposed have been deemed too radical. Change will come anyway, it always does. Rome took centuries to fall. America will go on, if not forever, nothing lasts forever, then for a very long time to come.

I believe that is called a cult of personality.

It's a good thing that this hasn't been posted a BILLION FREAKIN TIMES before.

Yeah but this hard currency thing is whack.

I'm not bothered, I don't live there, but I am curious why you'd completely screw up your economic system.

Despite agreeing with a lot of RP's sentiments, I have to agree with yours here, too.

Attacking the messenger? Please, if I wanted a preacher that sounds like a rambling zealot I'd go watch the Tom Cruise video again.

Who am I voting for? Not sure yet, frankly I don't see one person I really think is great, but we'll see.
