i was trying to find a video of this guy who got jumped by like 6 people in a parking lot and dropped all of them. i can't find it anywhere. it was a black and white security video.

5V1? Everybody acting like it's some surly 13yr olds the OP ran into. Handing over the phone may have been the best course of action. There's a reason the military uses young people and not 40yr olds. They're close to their peak of physical prowess, and I personally wouldn't want to go against 5 guys who've probably spent most of their lives fighting on the street. Without pictures it's hard to tell, but I doubt these were "just teenagers".

I would have never handed my phone and kept walking. If they started fucking with me I would have grabbed one of them and held his head in a position I could break his neck... and broke his neck if they continued attacking me. If I couldn't get ahold of him like that, I'd get one on the ground step on the back of his head and squish.

I mean, they were just teenagers...
Even if they were able to schenk me, I would have made sure to kill at least one of them...

1. pre-dial 911 on said phone in your pocket

2. attempt to deescalate

3. if you are pretty sure that you cannot effectively defend yourself prepare to run after/while you dial 911.

4. post about it since then the story would be worth posting about.
