To be honest if a bunch of guys were blocking a bridge I would not stop and would not roll down my window to talk to them. I'd simply rev my engine and keep driving, even a junky will get out of the way in time.

Only a retard would stop and actually allow himself to be manhandled like that.

Glad to hear you weren't hurt. While some people might've made them take the belongings by force (or at least say they would've done so), I see nothing wrong with what you did; no telling how it might've ended, what weapons they might've had on them, or anything else. If all you lost in the exchange was a phone, then that's not bad at all.

from now on, carry some fucking mace or something.

if it was me, i would have loosened my tie and punched myself in the face a couple times and gotten a crazy look in my eyes, unzipped my pants, rubbed my phone with my balls and asscrack and then told them to come get it from me.
