My thought exactly. And why is he a thug? Cause he had cornrows? And I don't know of too many people, white or black, who would not take exception to some pencil neck white guy, who is a total stranger taking pictures of their car. Your lucky he wasn't a thug. Cause if he was you would've gotten your tail kicked. And I am a bit concerned that you think its cool for you take pictures of people's cars. And you can get personal info from people's license plates. You can be some kind of sicko stalking people.

If he said he said he was a big white guy and called him a thug or a goon would you be complaining? Just because he said the guy was black doesn't imply anything. Its a detail. Details help develop a story He's probably a thug because he's a large scary looking security guy.

Here's another update too, you go out in public and things like this happen. People can not only take a picture of your car, but they can also take a picture of you. If you worry about someone getting "personal information" from your license plate its probably best that you not go out in public. There is nothing at all wrong with someone taking pictures of you or your car in a public setting. The guy has the right to ask him to stop taking pictures of his car, but he can take them.

I used to live in the REAL Houston, and went to an HISD middle school. I know what a thug is, and this guy was not a thug. He was a middle to upper middle class black guy with cornrows.

I told the security guard that there's nothing illegal about taking pictures in public, and when he said something about private information, I told him that if I wanted to, I could just memorize the number if I wanted to.

If the original intent of the post was the car, the guy's color, hair style, or dress had nothing to do with it. And if a guy is trying to get your attention by yelling "ay you" makes him a thug or anything else your just plain stupid.
