I was "reprimanded" by a ricer's black middle class friend

Earlier tonight I went with some friends to Bennigan's in a shopping center. In the parking lot, I saw an S15 Silvia... then I did a double take and realized that it was a Prelude with S15 headlights. So we walked around it and saw that it also had Z3 side vents and BMW "M\\\" badges. I went back to my car for my camera and realized it was gone (actually it was at home)! So after eating, I came home and got my camera, and went back to take pictures.

So here I am taking pictures of this monstrosity, when a fat black guy with cornrows comes out of the place (some little restaurant) and says "Ay! Ay you!" I'm like "Me??", and he says "Yeah, you!". So I go over to this guy adn he asks me why I'm taking pictures. I say "Because it looks cool." A security guard comes over, and they tell me I have to get permission to take pictures of a license plate because private information could be had with that information. I told him it wasn't illegal, and he started bullshitting about how it could be traced back to me and I could go to jail or something. So the black guy goes back in the restaurant and comes out and says "It's cool".

And that is how I escaped being beaten down by a ricer's thug friend.

So where are the pics? I'm in Houston and the USB cable for my camera is in Austin. Pics will come tomorrow.

I just realized that the taillights were from a Supra.

Bennigans does NOT suck! They have the best chicken fingers of the 3 standard joints (chillis, TJF, Benningans).

Yes, it is common to see ugly rice in Houston. And yes, you folks in NW Willowbrook area have it bad, why? becuz your ricers aren't asian, they are other ** people.

I was on West 34th street, driving towards my friends house and i saw a old school Lexus ES300 with a SUPRA SPOILER!! My friend lives near the ghetto, but i told him to move so he bought a house in Champions now.

Asians *usually* have a better sense of style.

The first year in Houston was ok, but the suckage seems to have grown every year since then. Good Gawd, I want to see snow some place other than TV! And I shouldn't have to wear mosquito repellant in early December when I work in the yard. That is just wrong!

He was the guy who told me not to take the pics. I was painting a picture. If it was a white guy with a buzz cut, I would say that.

okay, for whatever our flaws may be, you have to admit a couple things about houston:

1) Everything and anything is available (can you tiny, teeny weeny city people of Austin say that ElFenix? *evil laugh* ex-longhorn btw )
2) WE are the friendliest bunch (unless you cut us off and we have our 12ga. in the rear gun rack of our Chevy)
3) We have tons of restaurants, all kinds, and a lot that are good (BBQ mmm...)
4) We are improving (look at downtown now...)
5) We are diverse. I like being in a city where so many are different, it kinda makes me feel like we are not small townish/redneckish when you have so many different people, whats the word.. cosmopolitan? Dallas can't say that, neither can S.A. (yeah lot of minorities, but they're all Mexican), or Austin!

It doesn't matter how much you fix up your civic/prelude/integra/accord. In the end, it'll still be a front wheel drive car.
