I got a call from the HR department of a big power company today offering me a summer engineering internship at a nuclear power plant working in the scheduling and planning department.
No one was really sure what I would be doing, apprently it would be business, logistics managing, some programming - almost as if they needed a jack-of-all-trades person. I'm finishing up my 2nd year as a CE major so this isn't the dream Software engineering internship but sounds like a winner because it pays >$15/hour and is within a drive from home. Heck at that rate I'd make coffee and serve dessert for the summer
I said I'd get back to them on Monday. I wanted to think it over.
EDIT: I accepted!
