Needless to say, I was as giddy as a school girl to see them...and oh my, he had them plugged into a a Mitsubishi Reciever playing FM radio, and ONLY FM radio...no CD or anything

I complemented him on his choice of monitors and he scoffed "bah, these old things?"


Needless to say, I was crushed

Heh - I have a friend with a really nice, restored '67 Charger. He was driving to a car show and a guy in a Ferrari starts to follow him. When he got off at his exit he pulled into a gas station and the Ferrari pulls up next to him. The Ferrari guy gets out and starts drooling over the Charger and says, "Wow, man. This is a great car."
