i was carjacked

yikes damn. Well, I'm glad the guy got caught.

I agree w/ andylawcc to have a so. cal. meet, but not just for the sole reason to cheer you up alone 😛. well, that too, but there wasn't a so. cal. meet since mrsbugi and tsaico (sp?) hosted them.

if you are in socal, plate is 5EGX823, it has a chrome rear license plate frame that says "Cal Poly Pomona" and has no front plate. If you see this car please call the police. If possible tell them where it is headed. I don't care so much about the car being recovered but the guy apprehended.

Too bad you weren't packing, this guy should be dead.
 
Glad to hear they caught the scumbag. Sorry to hear about the car, but as we mentioned before, that's what insurance is for...at least you're relatively unharmed. (and alive)
 
Sorry for your loss. Good they caught him, but there's still a long ways to go before justice yet.

On a side note, WTF is with AT members getting mugged, beat, etc.? This has to be the third or fourth post about getting assaulted in 30 days.
 
just read the OP, hopefully he was killed, actually just hope he was maimed in the crash.

PSA: if you stole a car, try not to crash.

anyway, glad it's over. i hope the car is totalled though, as someone above mentioned, it will be a pain to fix it.

Lol, who the hell is he going to sue that has $150k? The criminal? You really think he can get $150k from the guy who assaulted him to steal his car? Because that would be the richest car thief I have ever heard of.

Do you really think he would "get better" after being in a rehabilitation clinic for a certain amount of time? The success rate for those things is so low that it is ridiculous.

Does that mean that you're for the idea of executing the carjacker? The system is broke, so start executing thieves and criminals? I'm sure glad there's people with enough guts to condemn others whom they've never met.
