Has anyone heard of this? I saw the youtube vid and I'm really interested in watching this. Though the website I found selling the DVD is pricing it at $30... It's suppose to include a PDF of his workout regimen and nutritional guide throughout the 6 month project.

I haven't even heard of it, but from the looks of the youtube vid it might be interesting. I really hate the message given out in most of these types of things though. If you're getting ready for a bodybuilding show it's a little different, but the whole idea of "oh no, i ate xxx now my diet is ruined" just annoys the hell out of me. No diet needs to be perfect to be successful and not accepting the occasional screw up is just setting yourself up for failure.

Agreed, just trying to live the BB life style is different compared to getting ready for a comp and it's funny to see them act as if one cheat meal was a deal breaker.

Looks like an interesting documentary. I really like athletic documentaries that do not address mainstream sports (baseball, football). I liked "What It Takes" for example. I also want to see Sprit Of The Marathon and WildFlower, but I'm not sure if they are good or not.

I like the comment about most people don't realize how hard it is to look a certain way. I believe most people can look that way, but it requires will exceeding what most have (or rather motivation, not necessarily condemning, but they simply don't want it bad enough). Nobody looks that way without constant work and effort.

Sadly, I've seen worse. His deadlifts were pretty sluggish too. The trainer is also a joke. He knows nothing on coaching and getting people motivated. Telling someone you're disappointed is an instant motivation kill. He needs to take some exercise and sport psychology classes if he wants to be taken seriously. At this point, he's just a jackass.

Being a jackass is a terrible idea. You won't make any progress that way. It's just awful. Really disappointing that more people don't have an education in the subject matter to stop them from being such jackasses.

Not interested in the DVD, and couldn't finish the whole You Tube vid. The male pattern baldness was enough for me not to want to look like him - LOL.

As an advocate of finding your own path through your journey towards your vision of fitness (my vision differs entirely), I strongly believe you should find what works for you - on your own. I'm not saying that you should disregard the advice of others. If it sounds logical then incorporate it into your own program for a few weeks to see what happens.

I'd have made a horrible Nazi. I never blindly follow the lead of others. I have some inner need to listen and then only apply the aspects that offer the most promising results. Often I'm wrong and quickly return to my tried and true methods.

True story: Brent Howard (aka Sgt. Rock) a 800 lb deadlifter at my Gym - and all around good guy (one of the few powerlifters with a generous supplement and equipment endorsement contracts) offered me the opportunity to train with him and his crew. Only one condition - I train as they do; set for set, exercise for exercise. I politely declined. I've seen them train, and I'd be over trained inside 2 weeks and losing strength. One size DOESN'T fit all!!!
BTW: Unless the You Tube guy happens to be an identical twin, you can't expect identical results anyways.
Good luck Broseph 🙂
