i want to change my eating habits

there is a juice bar here on the base but they are asking like 3.50 for a protien shake. and thats farking expensive!!!!!1
 
Something I never thought I'd eat that my girlfriend turned me onto, meatless burgers. We buy Boca All-American grill burgers and Morningstar spicy black bean patties and man that sh!t is good. I believe they're both vegan options also.

If you eat a healthy breakfast (fruit, cereal, skim milk, 100% juice, etc.) you can EASILY last until you eat an early supper (another HEALTHY idea to eat not-so-close to bedtime).

It cuts out the urge to eat junk at noon, and it gives that supper less time to settle as fat once you go to sleep.

If anything, drink a big 'ole protein shake at lunch to fill that gap. Trust me, it's a killer for a week or two. After that your body adjusts just fine, and you'll forget all about it. It's definitely made me healthier by encouraging me to eat a healthy breakfast as well as an early supper.

It's what worked for me, and I honestly think it COULD work for others. He wanted options/opinions. Of course NOTHING will work for everyone.

In all seriousness, if you're hooked on Hot Pockets, get "Lean Pockets".

Like half the fat/calories & the Pepperoni ones are delicious, IMO.

Try a bowl of fresh fruit sometime too. Chop it up at home and stick it in a sealable container and bring that with you. Just make sure your breakfast/dinner is something that offsets the effect too much fruit can have. 😉

i dont know how many calories or sodium is in the lunch i got today. teh lunch buffet at godfather's pizza. it had salad so that covers everything right?

Just make more for dinner ... and take leftovers. We're doing that now, for the last month or so, and I've lost 15 lbs alone just doing this without amping up the exercise (next step). I realize that the variety might not quite be there, but it is fast in the morning, usually tasty, and better for you (especially if your family cooks good meals).
 
i dont really need to lose any weight :roll: if i lose weight ill be even more unhealthy. i just need a better lunch. my heart is probably dying.

i usually go out and skateboard for 15 minutes to an hour every other night (sometmies more) and believe me my heart is pumping hard core after that.
