I want to buy guns but I'm Canadian!!

Hi everyone, my name is steve and I'm a canadian living in Ontario.

So I dont like Canada's strict gun laws and I really want a real nice gun. (I own 4 airsoft guns, 3 pellet/bb rifles and a pellet/bb pistol).

I like to shoot targets and defend against invaders.

I am in school right now but I was thinking of moving to US later and finding a job/settling down in US.

so my question is am I allowed to buy gun in US if I get green card or do i have to be citizen?
(this could be different in different state but what is general thoughts?)

thank you!

So...how many invaders did you defend against before you realized you liked it? Took me about 75. Most people catch on faster than that though.

u just need to be a resident of a state I believe, depending on where you are, they are either anal tight or floppy hat loose

My name is also Steve and I am also a Canadian living in Ontario. Why don't you just get a license and or go to the range?

Let me guess, you probably live in Toronto. Come here in Northern Ontario and invaders are less of an issue. Who wants to be outside finding houses to break into when it's -30, when you can be in your own house? 😛

[AA Group Voice] Hi Steve! [/AA Group Voice] 😛

When you grow up you'll realize that guns become much less important in your daily life.

Seriously...I don't think I'd move out of country or even out of state based on that alone.

So if guns were completely banned from the US, you wouldn't move? I'd be out of here within the hour.

Where would you go? Where would the hundreds of thousands of angry gun owners go? Would those countries accept you??? It's easy to say stupid shit like that but in reality you really haven't given it much thought have you?

I could see moving from one state to another for gun-rights reasons as long as it wouldn't impact my life too much. For example, I live in MD and gun laws are restrictive. I'd consider moving to VA where I can get a permit and carry a concealed weapon.

As for moving countries, I don't think so. However, no telling what happens if the government tries to strip away our 2nd amendment right.
