bla bla bla, chest thumping americans

NO chest thumping at all. There are a few things I believe strongly enough in to fight for. I also accept that I will lose. But maybe, just maybe enough people will stand up together and win. I'm willing to take that chance.

The 2nd amendment was put in place to make sure we had the tools needed to overthrow our government. That means the founders were planning on the government eventually needing a revolution.

The great thing about this is people will think that this is abnormal or something to be made fun of, when in fact this is how our country came about. Thankfully there are enough people in the US like this (myself included) that wouldn't let anything like that happen.[/quote]

Viva la whiskey rebellion!

When you grow up you'll realize that guns become much less important in your daily life.

Seriously...I don't think I'd move out of country or even out of state based on that alone.

So if guns were completely banned from the US, you wouldn't move? I'd be out of here within the hour.

I wouldn't move, I'd die fighting. Our founders stood up for what they believed in. I'll do the same.

 Dude, I've seen pics of you, you're a soft doughy looking computer nerd. Who the hell are you gonna stand up to?

Hi everyone, my name is steve and I'm a canadian living in Ontario.

So I dont like Canada's strict gun laws and I really want a real nice gun.

I like to shoot targets and defend against invaders.

I am in school right now but I was thinking of moving to US later and finding a job/settling down in US.

Make sure to note on your APPLICATION TO MOVE TO THE USA your reasons for wishing to come to the USA.

Which is fine for you, but some of us would. In fact, some of us would march to war against our nation if necessary to defend such a right.

Where would you go? Where would the hundreds of thousands of angry gun owners go? Would those countries accept you??? It's easy to say stupid shit like that but in reality you really haven't given it much thought have you?

We wouldn't go anywhere...we'd take our weapons and begin the systematic execution of every traitor that tried to enforce the situation.

What does that mean exactly? That is almost as silly as the OP. Liberty is just as important and relevant in 2009 as it was in the 1700's.

Hell yes. What would liberty be without guns?
