Diazepam is just Valium.

If you're not used to being on narcotics, a lot of people have an adjustment period before they're tolerant of the medicine. It affects everyone differently. You might try vicodin instead.

If you're NOT feeling better in the morning, definitely talk to your MD ASAP. Feeling like that is nothing to mess around with, believe me! My son tried committing suicide a couple of months ago so take it from someone whose been there.

UPDATE: THANKS for suggesting water & friends, I wasn't thinking clearly. Friends came over, hung out, I got stranger and stranger and they took me to the emer. room - had insane blood pressure, heart weirdness, etc. Stayed overnite for observation.

That stupid MD had prescribed a crazy high dose of the Valium, according to ER docs.

Time to change MD's.

I wondered too, but i looked it up and, yes, it is recommended for that.

I didn't recognize that it was valium when i took it, MD said "muscle rexalant" and the prescription was for diazepan, which is the generic name.

I'm happy to hear your okay. I had some bad side effects to meds recently, so I know how it feels.
