the only time I laughed while watching anchorman is when my fiancee tickled my balls.

We went and saw Anchorman tonight at the theater. About 20 minutes in, the movie messed up and the screen went solid white and the movie stopped. We debated leaving at that point, but gave the rest of the movie the benefit of the doubt considering it was already slow and boring.

Unfortunately, it didn't get any better and we left about an hour in. Don't waste your money or time.

some theaters will give you free vouchers in these type of cases

When my friends and I went to see Kill BIll Vol. 2 the movie cut out twice, both times for 10-15 minutes. They didn't give us jack.

You have to ask, they don't just go to each person in the theater and ask if they want a free voucher. Next time go to the customer service desk.

Film looked funny in the trailers, but we all know how reliable a measure that is. I went in with expectations, and left very disappointed.

It was crap with punctuations of funny. Worst of all it showcases perfectly Will Ferrell's extremely limited comedic appeal, which was spread as thin over the 90+ minutes. It came off as a overly long and largely unfunny reacurring SNL skit.

I, too, wanted to leave after about twenty minutes.

The only movie I've ever walked out of was Oliver Stone's "U-Turn."

I've had to turn off: Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, The Imposter, and The Thin Red Line.

Frankly I would not spend money on it. I can see it at home with my projector and wont miss much. In NYC we get charged 10.50 now. When I go to a movie I usually go the Union Square multiplex and take in an extra movie or two.
