i didnt question their musical talent.. they're still my favorite new band. I just pictured some cool hardcore rocker dude when i heard their songs.. not some panzified incubus singer look alike..

Btw, I've seen the lead singer, I don't exactly think you are an expert on knowing when people are not being themselves, how do you know thats not how he really is?

regardless of who he's trying to be or what i'm trying to say.. he looks like a dork. did you see that pic ? have you seen the running away video?

Looks like a dork or not, the point is you associate looks with wether or not a bad is worth listening to (case in point the comment about Creed).

He may look like a dork but that might just be the way he is, would you rather he go out of his way NOT to look like a dork? If he id that wouldn't that be the same thing you have been complaining about?

I don't think someones appearance in a video is grounds for judging what kind of motivations they have.

So regardless what he looks like, regardless if I never see the video, the simple plain fact remains that you equate poor looks with a poor band, no matter how good they are, if they look "stupid" then you suddenly can't stand them.

Dunno, all I know is it's on the their new disc Amalgamut.
I didn't care too much for their last CD but I like this one alot.

I used to know this kid, he looked perfect for the part of lead singer in a punk band (kinda scrawny kid) but instead his band was a metal band, I literaly looked at him and said "dude, there is no way in hell you could pull that off, I mean, whats hard about you?" so I got the chance to see them play once and it struck me how completely STUPID it is to base your opinions on someones looks, their band kicked ASS, showed TONS of potential, was original to boot, and they all had passion for what they were doing.

Moral of the story, who gives a DAMN what they look like, what do they SOUND like, you aren't listening to a music video, you are listening to a musical group, given the way you talk you of all people shouldn't care what they look like.

yeah, i know. i've been listening to hoobastank all morning. they're still a good band, and looks dont mean anything.

the firs post was an increadibly shallow and (overly) sarcastic post.. just becuase i couldnt believe how different my perception of what i thought he would look like was compared to the reality. and i'll still end up buying their CD.

New Aerosmith is total crap, but i dont think its new, its just they are doing something to keep themselves busy. They cant match Dream On days no more.

I got the latest Peppers album... its OK but err yeah, Californication and Blood, Sex ones were way better.

If you are comparing Incubus to Pink Floyd, than you have a problem with your ears, and i am not a Floyd fan or anything...

Of course MTV will play old Henrix and Aero vids once in a while, i was reffering to new "popular" stuff.
