Cool on an opposite note I'm returning my PS3 tomorrow. I've found that after having it nearly a month all it's been doing most of the time is collecting dust while the 360 gets all my gaming attention. I might think of getting one again once the kinks are worked out and Sony has more games and a better online network.

rofl, i bet u don't even have a ps3

to the op yes, i dont think at this time u can't go wrong with a 360 or ps3..and i think both the 20gig an 60gig come with wireless controllers

I had two of them at one point and sold one of them on Craigslist. Oh and my Sony Online name is Joker530.

HAHAHA! Awesome Joker! That was a sweet pwned! :D

Even at that resolution I still have yet to see a 360 game with AA. Doesn't the PS3 use AA in some of their titles?

Yes, and so does the 360. Oblivion has a small amount of AA (somewhat appreciable), and I think Gears of War has 4x; I believe I saw it in an Epic press release. The 360 has an entire die of eDRAM dedicated to AA+AF. I know some of the games use it.

I have yet to see an area where it uses any AA at all and if it is using AA it's 2x.

Even if it does use a small amount of AA, it doesn't incorporate any type of AA to use for alpha textures (e.g. Adaptive AA or Transparency AA).

I agree. No transparency (since it's an ATi GPU in there) sucks. Also, have you noticed that the AA interferes with the low-class 'depth-of-field' (if you can even call it that) in GoW? Everything in the distance is shimmery and makes my eyes hurt. Probably also a side effect of noone implementing AF... Oh well. Console devs focus so much on graphics and not gameplay that they end up screwing the graphics up trying to find a concept, I think. I'm almost positive GoW uses AA, though.

As Josh as stated, it definitly doesnt use AA, well i haven't tried on any other res but on 1080i it definitly doesn't use it. I think it uses AA on Ghost Recon AW but not on GOW

(i have to check GRAW, but ill be back on that)

Can't beat a Wii for the price. I didn't even know it had integrated wireless until I was messing around in the menus. Check out the Wii Weather Channel if you haven't already ... it's almost as fun as the games :D
