I feel as though I must get this off my chest. I find it ironic that big religion backs the republicans and will disregard the very book they purport to believe in and toss it to the side and everything it stands for while they do so. Then they will pick up the very same book and wave it around at people as an excuse for why they should do certain things later on when it suits their fancy. For the record I don't believe that most of the people in religion are even Christians anymore. It rather reminds me of what Jesus encountered back in the day when big religion used to storm around town stalking poor prostitutes to condemn them and stone them to death even though they were pathetic in their own ways. Always talking about God but they didn't even know him themselves using religion like an axe to do their bidding while exercising power over people. How many times did the first Christian have to step in their way and stand up for regular people? Compare the Masters behavior to that you see from supposed Christians today and you get the picture. Certainly you can understand why I don't want anything to do with them as I see them for what they are. You can also understand when I encounter a person who says they are a Christian I immediately have to apply the bibles litmus test to prove it . Its been years since I've encountered another legitimate Christian and he was a preacher and made me sick to my stomach as he promoted his personal business to me. I am sure that as you see the meaning of progressive this is true but I think that as I see the meaning of progressive it isn't. So we have different opinions on what a word means because we came to a different understanding of what that word means in different ways. There is nothing for me to say to you, therefore, because I would be talking about something you have no idea about and it would appear that I am trying to convince you to believe in something you believe is evil. I do not want you to believe that evil is good because goodness should always win. So I will tell you instead only that long ago when I was quite young I set out to prove that the good I believed in was the real good and the price I paid for that search was everything I believed. I came to see that good and evil are meaningless, that the good as I believed it to be does not exist.

Can you understand how horrible that was for me, the universe cold and empty? So I let go and died, I surrendered to the Nothingness I had always feared and woke up to the perfection of being. My beliefs in good and evil were as meaningless as everything else but to be is perfect. That is what being a progressive means to me. There is nowhere to go, nothing to achieve, no battles to be won, no truth to defend, nothing to struggle for because to be is to see the perfection of everything, being is love and everywhere you look is the beloved.

So a progressive for me isn't a march to perfection but an awakening to its eternal existence. God is as real as real can be, God is when you are.

So I found the good when I lost it but it's no longer how I define it. It just is, beyond words or thinking or time.
