i get 3 hours of sleep last night, so i'm dead tired when i arrive at the office this morning. when i go to get a cup of coffee to keep awake through the day, i find the coffee machine on our floor is broken. there's a sign telling us to please use the coffee machines on the third floor. ok, no big deal, i go to the third floor, and i see two pots. one orange, one black. now on my floor, we have these tall thermos containers, where its clearly labeled which one contains regular and which one contains decaf. no such labels on the pots. so i pour myself a cup from the black pot.

3 cups later, i still find myself nodding off at my desk. dammit, which pot contains regular and which one contains decaf? black or orange?!!?

This is the part where I would have burned the building down.

I'd guess orange is the decaf pot since Sanka is labeled orange, but that's just a guess.

Maybe someone else gambled and lost on the color coding this morning.

Just pour half of your cup from each pot. That way you are guaranteed at leat a little caffeine.

Unless they both happen to be decaf.

..time to get your own coffee pot and bean grinder and look forward to fresh ground coffee. Puts a little extra skip to your step to drink REAL coffee.

Wouldn't you have required at least one cup of coffee to make a decision that rational?
