I Think im gonna die.

Yesterday I got this TB skin test. You know, the stuff they inject under your skin that makes the bubble and turns red if you have TB. It was a mandatory test for my EMT class. So I got it, and the red dot still hasnt gone away. And, this morning I started getting this cough. Of corse, I am Asthmatic and havnt been taking my steriods. So..... could be that. Im freaking out man! lol...
Off to get my nebulizer...
Broncho Saline tastes good.

Hurry! Slice off your arm before it infects the rest of your body!!

OMG!!! OH NO! AIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! NOOOOOO!O!OO!O!!!!

TB won't kill you , any more

i had a positive TB skin test while i was in the Navy, they just put me on 6 months of anti-biotics and made me go in for a checkup once a month, i am still kicking 8 years later

But im a 100lb weakling who is afraid of bright lights and his own shadow. How will I survive??!?!?!

I think the phrase "It'll never happen to me" would fit well here. I just can't wait for post: "UPDATE: I woke up this morning and the spot's practically gone, sorry everyone for the trouble..." I'll check back tomorrow 😉

Sadly, you won't, I'm sorry 🙁

😛 😀

anytime you get a vaccination or anything, you'll feel sick for the next few days. don't sweat it. hmmm and you being a "100lb weakling who is afraid of bright lights and his own shadow."....damn you sound awfully familiar to someone i know.

This isn't a vaccination. Anyways, I just got one monday too and I still have a red spot on my arm but I think it's just cause the guy at the student health center mangled me. I don't know what it looks like when it's positive. I had one back in August but I might be going overseas and they want to make sure I don't have anything.

The TB Tine test is not an active virus. You cannot get TB from it period.

A small red mark is nothing, that is why they are read in 48 to 72 hours. Even if positive it doesn't mean you have TB, just that you have been exposed at one time to TB and your body knows what it is and has a reaction.

Anaphylaxis generally doesn't happen several hours later.

No you won't die.

You'll just be writing something someday and your arm from your hand to your shoulder will swell up and then explode spraying blood and puss everywhere.

So I hope your ambidextrous (SP :roll😉

I Think im gonna die.

I hate to have to be the one to tell you this, but you are correct, you are going to die. Even with all of our research, human mortality still hovers at a unbelievable 100%

Bill

See my theory here, is I have had the TB and then it just started going active like yesterday morning. Then I got the test and now that red dot pretty much seals the deal. Im done for.
