I think I'm finally done shopping B&M

Anyone else only buy things they can't get online B&M? I'm tired of snotty cashiers, bad service and managers with Napoleon complexes.

I figure I'll pop the $80 for Prime and order pretty much everything non perishable from Amazon.

My final straw was a twit manager at Staples who wouldn't let me buy a printer without a 5 minute pitch on spare ink and warranties. Literally 5 minutes. I said "no thanks" politely 10 times before I finally snapped and told him to just cancel my transaction and walked out.

That should help the economy. 😉

bought some fragrance for my wife at bloomingdales. bought the wrong one. took it to the jo malone store today and they exchanged it since they only carry the exact one she wanted

the higher end stores are usually the best. apple, jo malone, bloomies, nordstrom, bergdorf goodman, whole foods market

i buy a lot of stuff from amazon and have done so for 3-4 years now. what i can not get cheap there i go to walmart and get

I shop wherever I will get the best deal or what meets my criteria. Obviously, if I need the item now, I'll have to go to a B&M store. However, the price difference sometimes dictates whether I'll make that trek, and thankfully, you can usually check store prices online. The only annoyance with this is if you want to buy from Barnes and Noble as the store's price is listed separately from the online price.

I am an Amazon Prime member though, and they also recently added some new TV shows to their free viewing.

I like to try clothing & shoes on for size in B&W, then order online.

I almost have to do this. I'll buy a pair of pants that are the same length as the ones I'm wearing (which fit fine), get the new pants, and they're too long. :|

Oh yeah I need to do that for shoes.
Its impossible to find 9 triple wide. If I buy in stores I have to go up to 10 or 10 and a half and that leaves too much room in the toes.

Amazon prime rules! Combined with a box at the local UPS store it is a hard to beat combination.

My experience has been that the retail experience at most stores is way, way overrated.

OH, and jeans.

I hate being short and fat. 40x29 is a pain.
Of course, short and skinny aint much better.

I'm tall and skinny. The only place I can get the jeans that fit me is AE. It is practically impossible to find 30x34 in B&M.. stores else where.
