In what world is this even remotely true.

360:

Gears 2
Splinter Cell
Fable
Forza
Mass Effect (but EA has pretty much said that's only for awhile longer)
Shadow Complex (maybe...)

PS3:

Uncharted series
Killzone series
Resistance series
Gran Turismo series
Ratchet and Clank series
God of War series
Infamous
Everything from Team Ico
Motorstorm series
LBP
Wipeout
Valkyria Chronicles
Folklore
Heavy Rain
Fat Princess
Siren series
MAG

I'm not taking sides on this, I have both system, like both systems, but honestly, this argument that the PS3 doesn't have games is just naive and infantile. PS3 has plenty of great games making it more than worth the price. If that's what you have, please just stop speaking.

Wut?

Pop in Wall-E on DVD and then pop it in on BD on a nice, tuned 1080 television. Tell me it's not THAT much better. It's friggin phenomenal.

After having read a lot of threads on it, I've come to the conclusion that some people really don't see that much of a difference.

Most people I know can tell the difference between standard DVD playback and up-scaled playback, and people have sat in my home theater more than once mouth agape watching a movie like Iron Man or The Dark Knight on BD. The image quality and quality that higher resolution brings to the table isn't really debatable IMO. It's pretty much the difference between watching a movie and experiencing a movie.

I think you put a little more effort into finding PS3 exclusives than you did with Xbox 360 exclusives considering that you included Fat Princess but you left out Halo

BD is much higher quality. It looks great. I bought a couple BD movies when I first got it but then I realized that upscaled dvds look good enough for me. Yeah there is a big diff but in the end it wasn't enough for me to really care about. Personal opinion of course and not a knock against BluRay at all. I do realize it is superior. Where I think it makes the most difference on PS3 though is the storage.

I think that's the attitude that a lot of people have, and that's probably what Cuda1447 was getting at.

He also left out the most important exclusive of all.

I did include Shadow Complex :). I didn't want to bring a whole lot of XBL and PSN stuff into it, because, yeah, that makes for a pretty long list on both sides.

You're right tho, forgot about Halo and Crackdown and Banjo Kazooie. That's 3 more. There's also some 360 exclusive RPGs like Infinite Discovery that sold dozens of copies, but we can include those too.

At the end of the day, at best, the 2 platforms are comparable as far as exclusive titles, and the original argument that saying the PS3 has no exclusive games is naive and infantile remains.

I just had to look that one up, I had no idea what it was. Looks cool, I'm not much into JRPGs tho.

Yes I agree. The argument is infantile. The Sony exclusives are the only reason I'm getting one. I wish they didn't have any haha it would be easier.

Fixed your list for you, took out PS3 games that weren't out yet (some I'm not sure of) and added a decent amount of 360 games. Of course, if we really wanted to go toe to toe Wikipedia has lists of the exclusives for each, but I tried to just have the good games. Like I said, I have all three systems, but to say the PS3 has either more, better, or more varied exclusives is just silly - especially when you factor in XBLA.

GT5P isn't considered a demo first of all, Uncharted has a sequel coming out, so it's officially a series. There are quite a few PS3 games I didn't list, Heavenly Sword, Lair, Dark Kingdom, Singstar, Warhawk, Eye of Judgement, SOCOM, and Ridge Racer 7.

Regardless, my point was that both systems have a worthwhile amount of exclusive titles. I believe I've said that a couple of times.

It's not like PSN is a slouch when it comes to downloadable games either, and the 360 has been out a year longer.

You still missed CrackDown.

And this thread is failtastic.

I thought it would be wise to only list games that are out. And come on now...Heavenly Sword has a metacritic score of 79, Lair is a 53, Singstar has an Xbox equivalent, I'll give you Warhawk as a lot of people seem to like it (but I personally hated the demo), Eye of Judgement is a fringe game (though I admit I've never played it), Socom is a 63 on Metacritic, and Ridge Racer 6 is exclusive to the 360 so that pretty much balances out.

You're right that they both have a fair amount of decent titles, but the OP seemed to either want to start a troll thread or he wants to change just because he thinks the grass is greener on the other side. As far as I'm concerned, this is more the generation of multiplatform games than anything else.

Sure. It's non-existent. Tell us if you still beat your husband.

In English, "aren't happy with" is generally interpreted to mean "are unhappy with,"

How badly has educational levels fallen that that is the case? If I had meant unhappy I can assure you that is the term I would use. To take the comment in the flow of conversation-

How much are you willing to bet that there are FAR more people happy with XBL than those that aren't?

There are over 6Billion people on Earth. If we include the Silver members, there are 20Million XBLive users total. The original statement directly claimed that 20Million was far more then 5.98 Billion. Which statement do people take issue with? The one that was absolutely correct in every sense of the word.

My counterpoint did not go to the extreme of pointing out the incredible inaccuracy to that level, as I had assumed that English was not their first language and can forgive non native speakers gross misuse in those cases(I butcher German constantly, my wife is always giving me grief :p ). I limited the comparison strictly to 360 users, and I clearly included that I was speaking of Live Gold members. Again, there are 20 million XBox360 owners that aren't even using Live Gold, pointing back to the original comment yet again, how is it that the 10 Million users who are currently paying, and we will assume every one of them is happy, is FAR more then the 20Million who aren't?

Reading comprehension is obviously completely lost around here. Why I should need to explain a properly written sentence with no errors boggles the mind- particularly when one with gross inaccuracy is given no cross except mine.

you are clearly a moron

Quickly dropping to poorly written personal insults, XBoxLive is the place for you without a doubt.

If you don't understand that in almost all contexts "not happy" is understood to mean unhappy, then you really need to stop questioning how well other people know the English language.
