I think babies are ugly and creepy, is something wrong with me?

My wife hates babies and loves animals. I'm neutral. I certainly don't get the fuss some people make over them, and it's even worse when they're militant about it and get angry when you don't fawn over babies like they do.

This thread has many lulz. I never have gotten the hype when someone has a baby (except for how babby was formed) but I'm sure that will change if/when I have kids of my own.

We were in serious risk of losing our babies at week 30 and my wife spent a week in the hospital (I slept beside her) plus 6 more weeks lying in a bed at home full-time. I know 2 other people who are still trying after miscarriages. People pay $20k just for a CHANCE to have a babies. Having a baby is a miracle to be sure. See how it feels when you go through 30 weeks of emotions just to lose it and have to start over again (which isn't even a guarantee).

You hear about a lot of births and everything went fine so it may not be a big deal overall, but turn on the discovery health channel and you'll wish you never heard of half those problems.
