I think babies are ugly and creepy, is something wrong with me?

I'm seeing quite of baby hating here. Anyone likes to eat babies? I tend to stir fry mines with some MSG and soy sauce.

Yup. Newborns are ugly. Especially when the head is all out of whack from being squeezed out of that baby hole.
They almost look alien. Blecch.
I also hate it when they ask "Who does it look like?" What????????!! How the hell are you supposed to tell? It doesn't look like anyone.
I admit, after 6 months ago they become cute and start to look like one parent or the other.

a lot of babies are sickly-looking when they are first born. What else do you expect when they weigh 5lbs? I was fully expecting my premmie twins to look that way but they didn't. Yay.

My opinion is if they look sickly, don't say anything at all... if they look cute, just say so.

EDIT>>> so what do you think... cute, or say nothing at all? :D

Some babies are cute, others are not. You will always think your own kid is cute regardless.
And a lot of people say "cut baby" just to be polite even if the kid is anything but.

My opinion didn't change when I had a baby of my own. Took a few months before my baby became cute.

Newborns are ugly.

Between those two options, I would say nothing at all.

Granted I still say that all babies are ugly, gross, and disgusting and don't become "cute" until puberty as dNor said ;)

I think mine was cute when she was first born. See my sig. 2 of the 3 are when she was really young (1 was less than a day old, and the other about a week old).

Was she really cute? No idea. My opinion is skewed.

They're ugly until you have your own. Then yours are cute while other ones are still ugly :D

The first thing I thought of when reading this thread was that scene in Knocked Up when they first go to the doctor's office.

There's a difference between cute, normal, and freaky looking (which I was speaking of earlier). Yours is definitely not freaky looking. When I visited forums a lot while my wife was pregnant, people had their baby pics in the sigs... as I scrolled down a few threads, I had a facial reaction for some of them for sure.

I would guess as many as half I've seen are in the freaky category... which leaves a lot of normal ones too.

I also dislike babies, and I also get grief from my coworkers when they bring their crotchfruit in and I want nothing to do with it.

That has to be the most annoying thing EVER. I HATE hearing these stupid ass little babies in the office crying and shit, while most the department goes "awwww so cute" and run over there.

Agree with this post.

This is true. Some babies are just born ugly, they'll be the laughing stock of the kindergarten, and will end up in clown school.

This thread has many lulz. I never have gotten the hype when someone has a baby (except for how babby was formed) but I'm sure that will change if/when I have kids of my own.
