I want to do better cable management but unfortunately my Antec 300 doesn't provide a lot of options to tuck cables out of the way. Airflow seems to be just fine though so it'll probably be a while before I bother to get a new case, system itself is plenty sufficient so it'll be quite a bit before I do a new build anways.

its not just cables i need to worry about.
I have probably 15 feet of tubing filled with about 3/4th of a gallon of water i need to route as well. :X


BTW cable management and cases go in my section. 😛

Never had any interest in the water cooling or crazy OC stuff, more effort than the performance boost is worth imo. Hardware is too quickly antiquated.

Thats cause those pics didn't show my speedy SSD or the newer 680 with a heatsink that takes up 3 card slots now as those pics are a bit old. I think I replaced my CPU heatsink too but can't remember. I don't mess with it more than I have to anymore.

Very nice. It kills me when people don't even bother to try and manage their cables. I can understand that some cheap cases don't really have any management along with getting a non-modular PSU, but clean systems just look so nice!

Give me a couple days then I am not on cellphone internet anymore - when dsl is back I will post pics of my clear case system and new desk - cable management is an obsession of mine!

well it depends on the niche ur located in pc hardware.

Also its said your hardware life effectively doubles each 10C u bring down it temp.
In my case its probably more then 10C across everything, from motherboard (complete), gpu (complete), cpu.

And i dont go easy on my overclocks either, so i really eat into the life of my eq...
Ive been here with 6cores on a 990x b4 it saw retail launched even. 😛
Hence why i kinda skipped SB-E / IVY-E and im going straight to haswell.
