I saw the sunrise this morning.

This is sad - it reminded me of MyEpoxDied on the amdmb (pcper now) forums a few years ago - also young. Also, acemac's last thread starter was very moving in the face of the tradgedy that happened here to his life shortly thereafter. Life is so short, and to be honored and treasued before it's gone.

Rest in peace -

It's very sad to hear that another voice has been silenced, especially in such a way. Funny how it's always the best of us, too.

I go to work too early to see the sun rise... 🙁

But, due to daylight savings time, I did get to see a bit of light in the sky this morning! 🙂

RIP brother.

I usually actual beat the sunrise in every morning, but today I was a bit delayed and caught it as I drove to work. It's strange that a person that very few of us ever met has had such an impact on so many of us and makes us look at something as simple as a sunrise in a whole new way.

RIP

He was the kind of guy who put a lazy boy infront of an eastern facing window. If that's all you ever knew of him, you'd have to say he was probably somebody worth knowing better.

I'm so sorry, I didn't know him hardly at all but this is such a tragic way to go.

I can only hope this will make some of the members here think hard about what happens when they start drinking.

i can't stop thinking about it... i keep thinking about how nice of a guy he was to me and everyone else and why he had to go 🙁 it's put a damper on my day yesterday and today... i'm still sad about it. i've never met the guy in person, but i still feel really affected by his death. i feel worse about losing acemcmac than i felt whenever anyone famous died (john ritter, reagan, the pope, etc.).

truly a major loss to our community and, i'm sure, society. he was a great guy... 🙁

I think this may have been a sunset photograph, I know I took some from the lounge deck at the Anchorage Hilton during the morning, afternoon, and evening.

Anchorage

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For though from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar.
