Aw. What a way to go too... such a waste. I hope his friend is able to recover at least. I didn't really know him at all, but he seemed like a pretty good guy.

Are there any people on the forums here who can give a kind of eulogy? You know, what did he do, what kinds of things did he like etc...

something about how he went out of his way to share the joy of the sunrise on his last day lets me know that he probably died knowing that he's lived a good life. it warms my heart :)

Won't see another sunrise w/o thinking of this. Damn, damn damn dmn. "Carpe diem" suddenly seems a bit less trite.

It's sad, that it took this to inspire me, but now I know how much I was taking my life for granted, I'm not going to waste another day. I'm sure you have inspired many others the same way.

I think I've read all of the replies to this and I'm confused. What has happened. I'm sorry if this offends anyone, I'm just not sure what happened, except that someone passed away. :(

It is very tragic. This thread was just fantastic in its own way, the very morning of his last day he was up to watch a beautiful sunrise, and had to post about it here.

I know I've been weepy lately anyway, but this honestly brings me to tears. Just when you think you have it bad (myself), even though you may know people have it worse, it makes you appreciate life.
