Exhibit A:
Black Honda Prelude (probably a 1999 or 2000) with a spoiler (moderately sized- perhaps even stock!) a new muffler with two exhaust pipes...two large exhaust pipes coming out of it that is to say- oh, shiny of course. Chrome rims, and two stickers on the trunk (nicely sized, perhaps he actually has these things and they aren't just for show?!) that say VTEC and DOHC.
That one was weak and just barely a riceburner by virtue of the exhaust.
Exhibit B:
Blue 1989 (or 1990 or 1991..somewhere in that range) Mercury Cougar with ALL windows tinted (very dark, very, very dark) the word "COUGAR" written in some awful font across the top of the windshield, chrome rims and it was lowered.
Exhibit C:
Honda Civic from 1998, 1999, or 2000 (one of those), with chrome rims, lowered (way too much), a beastly spoiler (probably a foot-foot and a half tall), and a beast of a shiny exhaust pipe! Now, I just saw this one at a red light as it made a turn in front of me across the intersection (it had originally been going the opposite way) and I had to keep going straight so I didn't get a good read on any stickers (I had my glasses on instead of contacts anyway
).
I had some fun making fun of these cars when I saw them and explaining what a riceburner is to my friend.
Btw, before yesterday, I had only seen like 2 or 3 ricers in all my days here! Wonder if The Fast and the Furious has anything to do with it or if it's just the college kids bringing their cheap, but "cool" (in their eyes...) cars home?
