My father in law just got a 550i with M badges on it straight from the fatherland, and it's not an M. Does anyone know about this? I didn't have time to get the full scoop on how this happened. I was pissed he got rid of his 911 Turbo S. I so wanted to drive it again, just one last time.🙁

Yes, they sold him bunch of overpriced M hardware and badges for a steep price.

On top of an already steep price vehicle.

🙂

Somehow I don't think he minds.....or cares though.

Actually I will be selling my M3 in April. Keeping the 2012 Mazda 3s GT I bought. Sort of planning an future wedding even prior to our divorces completing 🙂 Both of us have been in similar relationships over the last 11 years that were going no where for at least half that time. My final hearing is 3/6 @ 1pm. Then I am done.

My M3 with the amount of miles I drive is just too crazy to keep. From Jan to November 2012 I paid a total of almost $40k in payment/insurance/gas and maintenance on the car. It's fun though, blasted to S. Carolina this weekend just to have dinner with my girlfriend covering 600 miles in under 7 hours with two stops for gas and another couple restroom breaks.
Omg how did I miss this? I don't even know where to start on commentary for this, but after mocking so many people for being poor now you are selling your used BMW because you cannot afford it. It is so poetic is makes me weak in the knees.

Alk you really are one of a kind.

He mocked people for having children or dating people with kids/baggage.

Now he is taking on baggage himself.....yea I know, poor kids.

You know, those are show cars and surprisingly well done. It's one thing to slap badges on a car to look like a higher trim/model, but it's another thing all together when you're not trying to pose and actually trying to make artwork. Some of these are sick.

See I don't have a problem with these kinds of cars. They're creative, artistic, and fun. My gripe is when you make a car look like a much more powerful car and it just sounds wrong. I've pulled up to a Ferrari that looked real but sounded completely wrong and was clearly some kind of 4 or 6 cylinder car underneath. That might work in some backwoods town that's never seen a Ferrari but it doesn't work in a big city where there are other Ferraris rolling around.

You know, he may be a narcissist, a braggard and assorted other things but I don't believe that I've ever caught him lying. Assuming Alky's post is true ... it is full of epic fail:

First, he pays out $40,000 in just 11 months of car ownership ... and he brags about it!

Second, he drives 600 miles in just under 7 hours (with a number of stops) which averages out to as much as 90 miles an hour ... and brags about it. I wonder if/how many tickets he got during his round trip?

Epic fail for all to see.

Oh the ironing, i can hardly bear it.

Also regarding the $40K I assume he's including the purchase price. Lulzy doesn't even touch it.

He's the Simple Jack of AT forums. No matter what he posts and how dumb it makes him look, every word he writes m-m-m-m-makes him h-h-h-h-appy.

hmmm no,

That is payments, gas, insurance and maintenance.

Try driving an M3 2000+ miles a month and see how you do.

I put a GMC truck emblem on my (ATOT) Maserati.

What do I win?

(BTW, of course I paid cash for it and Maintenance, gas, Ins., etc. runs me almost $175 a year!):whiste:
