do you want it raw or something?

i like 5 guys more then in N out. their frys are so much better

I want it medium rare, but I'll accept it medium. Five Guys cooks their 4th-rate beef well done, no exceptions. If they're afraid to serve their meat cooked to something less than hockey puck it tells me a lot about their confidence in their meat. They don't trust it.

overpriced? you can get a huge meal for under $10.

It's a burger and fries. You can get a bigger burger and better fries for half that.

Their burgers are really good, but nothing to rave about. I get more excited about their fries.

You haven't had MOS Buger in England...makes me doubt that you've had one period.

maybe it was a different one in England and I'm not remembering right. It was certainly a MOS burger in Japan as I had to listen to how amazing their burgers are from my American friend who was living in Japan.

i say your overhyped uncle guyver. Unless, of course, you have more story time for us. :) In which case I'll listen. ;)

A Five Guys opened up on campus late last year.
absofuckinglutely delicious. I've never had a burger from a burger joint taste so damn delicious. And you know what, I know my burgers, because I don't dilute the flavor.
I get the cheeseburger with mayo and ketchup, and that's it.

shit, I'm hungry. Not going to five guys, at least not right now. I had McD's for breakfast this morning. Maybe tonight or tomorrow I'll get Five Guys. That's a good protein meal before working out the next morning, yep... that's my lunch or dinner tomorrow. :)

Doesn't compute.

So you claim to have had one in a location that doesn't serve them, you don't remember what kind you got because it was over a year ago, you think it was only the 'basic one' (they have numerous different kinds) and yet you claim with certainty that MOS Burger is overrated. Gotta love the logic there.

it fell short of the ratings it had. Almost like it under performed or the ratings were a little over of what I got on my plate. Unfortunately, I do not keep a log of my restaurant purchases in foreign countries, especially when the names are in another language.

And this burger that under performed, you remember having it in England right? I'll listen to people's opinions until they claim something like that, or specifically state they "might not be remembering right."

The burger place in England had a very similar name and layout/design to MOS burger, so I did get them confused for a moment. Sorry, it happens. That trip was quite a while ago as well. Wow, you are really defensive about MOS burger aren't you? I do specifically remember the feeling of "meh" I had about the burger after I had it in Japan, sorry if I didn't take a picture of the actual burger while eating it.

Kuma's is good but sometimes I'm in a hurry.

I like 5 guys a lot. There's a burger joint near me close to Denton, TX that is spectacular though. Sadly, it's the only one I've seen/know of. It's called 'Earl's Burger', and it's epic. I think they use ground sirloin, and the patties are 1/2lb each. The double is 1lb of meat! Tastes fantastic! I'll try to up a pic soon, I eat there a few times a month.

I tried 5 Guys with the only one here in LA County and it was good but not great. Still like In n Out better as a chain.
