I could not imagine having to work a saturday. it must really suck. I've never had to do it, unless I was called out, but that I don't mind since it's like 4 hours double time even if it takes 5 minutes to fix the issue.

I"m not crazy about my job at times, but for the last 10 day i've been working, all i had to to was babysit my equipment, update a few reports and watch tv.

So, it has its plus and minus.

I would not mind having that job. Just sit and watch TV all day. It might be a very boring movie (alarms) but hey, it's still watching TV.

NOC... Nah.. but if I were ever able to change careers, working at a NOC might be fun.

Right now, I'm at a customers location, and well, this phase of the project doesn't really require too much from me. Make sure my equipment works, and just standing by if things went south. Then i would have been been busy.

Actually, I'm glad things were as uneventful as it was. Gave me time to study a bit for the GRE.
