Finally got there yesterday, after exactly 20 months of tracking my weight every Monday morning, and after exactly 17 months of actually making an effort to lose it. My highest point, according to the graph, was 188. Today I'm 125. (5'6") That's 63 pounds, 1/3 of my original weight gone!

This is my favorite graph. It shows all the hiccups and achievements along the way. I can look at it and see when I started p90x, when I spent a month concentrating on building strength instead of losing weight, when I slacked off a bit during the summer and then fall last year, when I bought my Bowflex and started getting back into weight training. They may all look like subtle differences to you, but to me they were all incredible learning experiences.
It's amazing the difference in how I feel and what I can do. I started going to a gymnastics gymnasium for adult drop in nights to learn how to climb ropes for obstacle course races. So far I ended up learning head stands, hand stands, cartwheels, balance beam stuff, uneven bar stuff, AND rope climbing. I find it highly amusing that I couldn't do all this as a kid, but am learning how at age 34!
The plan now is to maintain my weight where I am not for a week or two and stabilize it, then start building back up a bit with some strength training. Thanks to the members of this sub-forum and the fat loss sticky as well as all the other suggested forums, websites, and places to find good information.
One other funny thing I realized. I felt I was always 'slightly' overweight, but I didn't think I looked too bad. People would always guess I was about 30 pounds less than I actually was, but now, when I look at those pictures, I think they were just being polite. Now it's the opposite. Friends, family, dates, and complete strangers keep telling me to stop, but I just see places where I could still lose fat. I've just been losing it for so long and so excited and happy about it, I think it might be hard to stop losing and stay where I am. I am aware of course, that if I start concentrating on building muscle instead, those areas will tone themselves.
Also, I have some really good disgusting before pics to post later, once I get some after pics taken.
