it was in washington dc. fairly interesting. this was how it went down:
we met at the circle. everyone was to go by time.gov, or their cell phone's time. these were the instructions handed to us:
7:28 approach entrance and begin entering the location (book store across the street). note the magazine rack on the right side of the store. casually browse the aisles as the reset of the mob enters the store. try not to attract attention from the now suspicious employees.
7:31 begin approaching the magazine area. grab a magazine and flip through it. remain standing
7:32 find an article. read it to yourself
7:33 exchange magazines with someone near you and read their article to yourself
7:34 start reading their article OUT LOUD
7:35 high-five your neighbors for 10 seconds, put your magazine back, and then quickly disperse.
it was pretty cool, actually. i really wanted to bring a camera, but then i wouldn't be participating, so i just lived it instead. hopefully the people that took pics submit them to the site where this originated, and they're up soon. i don't know how successful it was, but apparently there were 90-100 people, which seems pretty good to me
