Yeah, I was pissed off yesterday when I turned it to 101 around 4:00 and there was some Christian relationship therapy going on. Not that there's anything wrong with that but it wasn't what I wanted to hear.

We really don't need ANOTHER Tejano station around here.

93.7 is OK though.

Is clear channel responsible for all the radio stations to go on commercial breaks at the same time?

YEAH!!! that was another thing I noticed on my trip (see above). ALL the stations would go to commercial at the same time!!! AHHHHHH!!!! and the car didn't have a cd player!!! ahhhhh!!! and I'm the one who drove the whole way so I couldn't even sleep through it! AAAAHHHH!!!!

but they keep making it worse and worse, so it has to be paying off. why do we all just let them do that!! buy mp3 players or satellite radio everyone...

of course, satellite tv is supposed to be better than non-paid tv but you still have to watch DAMN ADVERTISEMENTS. and if you want to skip them like with TiVo, you have to pay EVEN MORE. what the hell is wrong with this world....

I haven't listened to music radio stations in 15 years.

Even then they'd play one hard rock tune every couple of hours.

I'll stick to my CD's. Installing XM in three cars would be such a drain on my pocketbook.

I used to listen to them when I lived in Tiffin, OH. They played a lot of good classic rock.

I listen to music all the time and boys of summer, white hot, baracuda, etc. I can't fvcking stand anymore. That's the problem with time-specific stations; they become very boring! I used to like the classic rock station back home until, three years later, i realized they were playing the same mix CD. then it started to tire on me :)

Birmingham has a great 80's station I used to listen to a lot, but now that I've gone through their playlist several times I can't listen to it anymore.

This station played classic and new Rock. I started listening to them again because I was getting tired of the same 10 songs on the alternative channel.

What's interesting is that this station ran something called Cyber Set at 7. A listener could request any seven songs through their internet site and if chosed those 7 songs would get played. I swear 90% on the chosen lists came from hispanic listeners.

Hopefully Walton and Johnson find a new home fast. They are the only reason why I listen to the radio in the morning.

You don't have to buy satellite receivers for all of your cars. There is that mobile satellite receiver that goes on sale soon that you can plug into any radio, or just use headphones with. I think I am going to buy one for christmas.

They did the same thing here in Denver. there were two great rock stations, one was 97 The Peak and had Nina Blackwood on in the afternoons. she had an awesome lineup. now its nothing but mexican circus music.

That is a Blast from the Past! Nina Blackwood was up in the Seattle area for years, on KISW I believe.
She does rock.:)

CC also got rid of 97.1 The Eagle here in Dallas - which was also the only Hard Rock/Metal channel in the area. They didn't even announce the change, they just made the switch at noon one day. Replaced Pantera and Korn with "Sunny Rock" or something that played alot of Cher and Michael Bolton - gah! Bastages.
