It's okay, I just sold a system with 4 f'ing gigs of RAM in it. I have a supplier of ultra-cheap 1gb RAM sticks, but they're kinda picky about their memory controller. Modern Intel chipsets don't work, AthlonXP-era AMD chipsets don't work (Though KT266A and earlier do), Socket 754 Athlon64's don't work, Socket 939 Athlon64's do. Don't even ask me about Intel compatability.
And the kicker? These things, which are CL2.5, cost me EXACTLY the same as a 512mb Corsair ValueSelect CL2.5 piece - so I can double my customer's RAM for "free" with the purchase of a high end system.
Doesn't work in any of MY systems, though. I hate selling stuff better than mine, but hey, what more do I need?
And yes, the stuff works. We bought 20 pieces and put them to work in a friend's datacenter for 6 months - unshakeable in practice, and unshakeable in memtest.
