I have a grand idea.

Step 1. Buy Microsoft Plus! Digital Edition

Step 2. Buy Logitech Z560 speakers

Step 3. Set alarm to your favorite rap song, bass boost on 80%.

Step 4. STFU

Get up the same time every morning no matter what time you go to sleep.

Soon enough you won't even need the alarm.

what makes you think another alarm clock will...

Again, the OP really meant to say:
I am a Lazy POS who does not posses the dicipline to get my lazy arse out of bed and be a productive member of society.

Oh, is that what I meant? Thanks for clearing that up. ;)

Seriously, you just won't understand until you literally SLEEP THROUGH an alarm for several hours.

Sleep with a tecumseh 300W crankcase heater element inserted in your rectum. Set the x10 cock to activate the module a few minutes before you need to wake up. If this doesn't wake you up you're in deep shoit!

If you don't know what that is, go to a hardware store and ask for a 200W soldering iron. A curling iron will work in a bind too but obviously isn't as comfortable unless your back door gets a lot of reciprocal miles.

Inspired by this thread. I also have the "turn it off and go back to sleep" problem, but the larger issue for me is that my alarm clock isn't guaranteed to wake me up at all. My poor roommate sat through 15 minutes of alarm clock noises this morning.

If I were your roommate, I wouldn't sit there and take it like a little bitch.

I would instead suggest cutting out the first 45 seconds or so of Pink Floyd's "Time", and looping that at a very high volume.
