Stargate is a good show (and I liked Atlantis, as well) but it is so long that it feels like they repeat the premises for episodes sometimes.

Dead like Me is good but AFAIK ends abruptly.

There's a movie that wraps up some of the loose ends from the series.

Yeah, it takes place a couple years later, but resolves everything fairly nicely. Even if the movie didn't come out, I'd still recommend Dead Like Me.

My buddy brought over his Flight of the Conchords DVDs last weekend and I watched half a dozen episodes. Hilarious show. Highly recommended.

If you watch Life on Mars - the BBC original, be sure to watch the "sequel" Ashes to Ashes. I've watched the first two eps and like it.
